Every time me and my friends think about travel, latest events, fashion or whatever we can think of, we always open Google and look for blogs about our topic. We are into travel this time around and my hometown happens to be a great place too. So I thought why not start my own blog featuring it..

So here...

Welcome to Cata-an Valley! :)

Location: Brgy. Cata-an, Sn. Joaquin, Ilo-ilo, Philippines.

This would be my first blog ever, please bear with me. lol!

• TOBOG BEACH RESORT - Cata-an, Sn. Joaquin, Ilo-ilo.

This beach has been around since I was just a little kid. Owned by Segumalian's too.. not us but by a relative. I remember my dad used to work building this resort before. My cousin Jessica also had an unforgettable experience in this resort. shhh.. 

I just loved the set up. The area is very peaceful.. I'm always excited to go down the stairs to view the beautiful beach.. not just a usual stair ha.. You can see a sample picture below. Perfect for pictorials.

This resort withstand so many changes and challenges too.. it may not evolve as a sophisticated and modern resort but I love the thought that it stayed the same for the longest time. It feels good seeing the same things when you go back to your hometown. I remember feeling bad seeing changes before,. then you usually hear "nami pa to kauna ang...."..

Bugtong Bato - a landmark I may say.. Best spot for cliff diving. Imagine sitting here while the sun rises or sets..

Cata-an Cove - a glimpse of a Coral Reef above the sea.

Breathtakingly beautiful :) I wanna sleep here actually.. You see the shade?.. it's because we are under a tree.  Yes, our forest meets the ocean here.

The water is so clear we are looking at the tiny fishes swimming .

I didn't feel hungry at all.. I feel full by just looking at this haven..

My brother Vince, we rested on a boat.. It's been a long walk under the scorching summer heat.

We really took time to pose. If only I can bring this rock home.. I would have had a beautiful landscape. 

• PARTNER's PARADISE - Sitio Magurampao.

I wish to have a house like this.. true by the Sea breakfast, lunch or supper.. I don't want to use dinner..  my Sensei told me dinner does not actually mean evening meal. Trivia: Piolo Pacual actually stayed here :)

My ever kindest Auntie Ging preparing our meals. This were left overs from Lola's birthday party.hehe

Party?.. nah we are just setting the sound system..(naks parang anlake ng speakers eh no?)

•  ILIHAN, Cata-an, Sn. Joaquin Ilo-ilo.

Ramie C. - He was so happy reaching the peak of ILIHAN.. I don't know how to describe this  - Mini Mountain? or Oversized Hill?lol...  It will take you approximately 30 minutes to climb up. The view is PRICELESS I tell you. It has been my practice to visit this place every time I go home. When we were kids at and corny pa namin, we use to make a shout out.. we all shout it like crazy. Nobody minds we are on the top anyway.. :)

My Aunt likes hiking here too.. best exercise. See the background? :)

I'm not on the pictures..hehe.. Im so excited to visit this place again.

We have our own Rice Terraces.

Going home is just easy and fast :) looks like New Zealand..

• LOCAL BEACH, Cata-an, Sn Joaquin, Ilo-ilo.

Mini Pool for the kids.. awesome. This perfect formation rarely happens.





The hunkie-dunkiez - Steven and Vincent. Actually, they just finished playing volleyball  by the mini pool, this is what they do to look cool, truth is, nagbabantay po sila ng mga kapatid nila na spoiled maligo dahil my mini pool naman, di takot.. cuteness.

Here they are.. unlimited boating access. :)
